Why We Started This
A mission born from watching too many young adults struggle with avoidable mistakes.
In 2018, we noticed a disturbing pattern. Bright, capable university graduates were making terrible financial decisions—not from lack of intelligence, but from lack of basic guidance.
They'd never been taught to budget. They treated credit cards like free money. They signed loan agreements without understanding the terms. Their parents, often well-meaning, had either avoided money conversations entirely or delivered lectures that went unheard.
We realized the problem started much earlier. By the time someone reaches 18, their financial habits are largely formed. If you want to change outcomes, you need to start when children are still curious, when they're asking questions, when their relationship with money is still being shaped.
What We Believe
Financial literacy shouldn't be reserved for business students or economics majors. Every child, regardless of background, deserves to understand how money works before they're thrown into adult financial responsibilities.
We believe in teaching through experience rather than lectures. We believe in age-appropriate honesty rather than oversimplification. And we believe that parents want to help their children succeed—they just need better tools.
"Teaching a child about compound interest isn't creating a Wall Street banker. It's giving them the power to make informed decisions about their future."
Our Approach
No Shame, No Judgment
Many adults carry financial shame. We don't pass that to children. Mistakes are learning opportunities, not failures.
Real Scenarios
Abstract lessons don't stick. We use situations children actually encounter—wanting new trainers, saving for a game, making trade-offs between options.
Family Integration
Parents are partners, not spectators. We equip families to continue these conversations long after our programs end.
Long-Term Thinking
We're not preparing children for their next purchase. We're building foundations they'll use for decades.
Who We Are
Our team combines financial expertise, educational experience, and child development knowledge. We've worked with families across the UK, from Glasgow to London, adapting our approach to different cultures, family structures, and economic situations.
Some of us came from finance, others from education. What unites us is the conviction that financial literacy is too important to leave to chance—and too practical to remain boring.
The Results Speak
Over 300 families have completed our programs. Children as young as eight have demonstrated the ability to set savings goals and stick to them. Teenagers have walked away understanding concepts like investment risk and debt management that many adults still struggle with.
Parents report fewer money-related conflicts. Teachers notice improved planning and self-control. But the real measure of success isn't what happens during our program—it's what happens years later, when these young people face their first major financial decisions armed with knowledge and confidence.
